Delicate Arch, Arches National Park

Photo escape: Delicate Arch, Arches National Park

Delicate Arch, Arches National Park

Delicate Arch, shot at about 9:30 before the crowds started arriving. Next time I’m going for sunrise.

I knew well before I moved to Salt Lake that my first road trip would be to Moab and Arches National Park. This weekend I loaded the car with all of my camping gear and hiking boots and set off for a spectacular drive southbound.

Admittedly, I drove the canyon on Interstate 6 just south of Spanish Fork way too fast. Call it a challenge meets a new playlist… I really need to check myself.

With only a weak internet connection in the campground (the worst campground I’ve ever stayed in, but more on that later), I only got a couple of photos posted on Instagram. Once home, I jumped right back into a work project and Cross Fit, so I’m sorry for just a photo post for now. Anyway, here are two shots of Delicate Arch to hold you until I can share more about my hikes in Arches National Park.

Delecate Arch through a keyhole

I shot this image or Delecate Arch through another small opening along the trail.
